Hope you got your seed stock! Its a good time to pollenate any good mothers with viable male pollen. The onslaught of government action may cause a slight ripple in the immediate industry as we know it, and safe access to clones and seeds may be no more! Here's a little hidden gem! Marvin's Gardens in Guerneville, CA, right out side of Sebastopol on the beautiful russian river. Everyone involved in this place is DEDICATED and PASSIONATE. FDA Cannabis Petition -- NEED HELP
FDA Cannabis Petition -- NEED HELP
We just got the following email (see below) from a Doctor who is doing the
FDA Petition with us. The Long and the Short of it all is that the FDA
wants us to give them
a- An environmental impact report
b- An Economic impact report
Which means that we have to put something together and send it in real
soon. DOES ANYONE out there know of anything that has already been
pre-written. Please note, we have to move fast of this.
[note names of petitioners withheld because I did not have time to ask
their permission to use them]

Yesterday I received a phone call from a Karen Kennard from the FDA and
she said that there were two items missing from the petition one is the
environmental impact and the other is the economic impact and that they
should be inserted before Certification. They should be sent in as addenda
as a supplement to Docket#FDA-2011-P-0671. This should be done ASAP
because they will be reviewing the document shortly. These should be sent
to:

Rockville, MD 20852

The TRUTH of HEALING CANNABIS OIL!
Now is the time to make a stand.
To all the oil makers out there - NOTHING good ever started with the words "easier & cheaper". Sorry - but we are the stewards of one of THE most medically legitimizing aspects of The Plant - it's safely extracted oil. Continuing to condone the use of NON FOOD GRADE solvents is doing our entire cause a dis-service. Scientists, Physicians and Healthcare professionals will NOT give us any credit when oil makers (for edible/oral ingestion) continue to use paint thinners and rubbing alcohol in the processing. ETHYL ALCOHOL (grain alcohol/ethanol) has been THE preferred solvent for all ingest-able botanical extracts throughout the ages! Why stop now??? True - now extractors need to actually know a bit about basic chemistry and how to use ethyl correctly, but that should be no excuse to pass off a substandard product that does nothing but sully any advances we have made thus far. Go with FOOD GRADE - or go home. :-/
